Sewage and Biohazard Remediation

Category three cleanup, done to standard
This Is Not a Cleaning Job

Sewage backups, trauma and unattended death scenes, hoarding conditions, blood-borne pathogen exposure and animal biohazard are regulated remediation work involving genuine health risk. The contamination is invisible, it aerosolizes, it penetrates porous materials completely, and improper handling spreads it through the building. Restotech performs this work with trained technicians, engineering controls and documented protocols, not with a mop and a disinfectant.

Protocol and Controls

Work is performed under full containment with negative air pressure and HEPA filtration, with crews in appropriate personal protective equipment including respiratory protection, full-body suits and gloves. Contaminated porous materials, carpet, pad, drywall, insulation, particleboard and affected contents, are removed and disposed of as regulated waste because they cannot be reliably decontaminated. Remaining structure is cleaned in a defined sequence of gross removal, detailed cleaning with appropriate agents, and application of an EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant with the required dwell time, followed by structural drying and deodorization.

Verified Safe to Reoccupy

Completion is confirmed by inspection and, where indicated, bacterial surface sampling and post-remediation verification before containment comes down. Waste is transported and disposed of by licensed handlers with manifests. You receive the full documentation package, including the protocol followed, materials removed, disinfectants and dwell times used, verification results and disposal manifests, along with the reconstruction of everything that was removed.
