Basement Waterproofing

Stop water intrusion at the source
Permanent Water Management

A basement that floods repeatedly does not have a drying problem, it has a water management problem. Restotech addresses the hydrostatic pressure, grading, drainage and envelope failures that let water into below-grade space in the first place. Waterproofing turns a recurring emergency into a controlled, engineered system, and it protects everything stored, finished or mechanical that lives below grade.

Assessment and System Design

We begin by tracing the intrusion path: exterior grading and downspout discharge, footing drain condition, cove joint and wall crack seepage, window well drainage, and the hydrostatic conditions in the surrounding soil. From that we design the appropriate system, which may include interior perimeter drainage to a sump basin with a sealed lid and battery backup pump, exterior excavation and membrane application, crack injection with polyurethane or epoxy, cove joint sealing, vapor barrier installation and corrected surface drainage.

Verification and Durability

Installed systems are water-tested before the space is closed back up, and pump operation, discharge routing and check valve function are verified under load. You receive documentation of the system as built, along with maintenance guidance for sump operation, discharge lines and exterior drainage. Where existing finishes were damaged by prior intrusion, we handle the drying, remediation and reconstruction as part of the same project.
