When a loss involves asbestos, lead, mercury, PCBs, refrigerants or other regulated materials, the project stops being a restoration job and becomes a compliance project with multiple licensed trades, notification deadlines and clearance requirements. Restotech acts as the single accountable party coordinating that work, so you are not managing four contractors, three laboratories and a regulator on your own while your property sits unusable.
Our oversight covers pre-abatement survey and sampling, selection and verification of appropriately licensed abatement contractors, regulatory notifications to the applicable air district and agencies, review of containment design and negative air engineering controls, monitoring of work practices and personal protective equipment compliance, waste characterization and manifested disposal, and independent clearance testing. Schedules, site access and containment interfaces are sequenced so trades do not cross-contaminate each other's clean areas.
At closeout you receive a complete file: survey and laboratory results, licensing and insurance documentation for every contractor on site, notifications, daily logs, waste manifests, clearance reports and photographic documentation. That file is what protects you in a future transaction, a tenant dispute or a regulatory inquiry, and it is what allows your carrier to approve the abatement portion of the claim without delay.
