Structural drying is a controlled physical process governed by temperature, humidity, airflow and material permeability. Placing equipment by instinct produces long drying times, high bills and buildings that never actually reach dry standard. Restotech calculates the drying chamber, specifies dehumidification capacity and airflow to the load, and verifies performance with daily measurements rather than assuming the equipment is working.
We calculate affected cubic footage and class of loss, then size low-grain refrigerant or desiccant dehumidification accordingly and place air movers to establish laminar airflow across wet surfaces. Where water sits inside an assembly we use targeted systems: injection drying for wall cavities, floor drying mats for hardwood, and negative pressure through cavity ports. Every day we record temperature, relative humidity, grains per pound and dew point inside the chamber, in unaffected areas and outdoors, plus moisture content at fixed points in every affected material, and we adjust the system when the numbers stop moving.
Drying is complete when affected materials reach the dry standard established from unaffected reference materials in the same structure, not when the surface feels dry and not when a fixed number of days has passed. Equipment is removed only after that verification. You receive the complete daily log, moisture maps, equipment inventory and final readings, which is exactly the documentation your carrier needs to approve mitigation billing without dispute.
