Indoor air quality complaints rarely have a single cause. A property may carry fungal growth in a wall cavity, bacterial contamination from a sewage backup, residual smoke particulate from a fire, and elevated volatile organic compounds from building materials or cleaning products at the same time. Restotech evaluates the full range of contaminants together, so you are not solving one problem while the actual source of the complaint goes untouched.
Our scope covers viable and non-viable fungal sampling with outdoor controls, bacterial sampling for sewage and category three water losses, particulate and char residue analysis for smoke and soot, and VOC screening where chemical odors or off-gassing are reported. Sampling is paired with a moisture and building science investigation of the HVAC system, envelope penetrations, ventilation rates and pressure relationships, because contamination is a symptom and the building condition is the cause.
You receive laboratory data with interpretation against recognized reference values, an identification of the source and transport path, and a written corrective plan covering source removal, cleaning method, engineering controls and post-remediation verification. Where the correct answer is a building repair rather than a remediation, we say so, because treating air without correcting the source produces temporary results at permanent cost.
